Tips and Tricks!
…in case your diffuser isn’t working as well as you want it to,
is acting funny or
needs a little sprucing up!
Read below to keep your diffuser
working in tip-top shapeÂ
Keep it clean!
There is an ultra-sonic plate {the silver circle at the bottom-inside of the diffuser} in each one and you want to keep that clean! Use the cleaning tool it came with, a soft {clean} cloth or tissue on a chopstick to gently clean it off between uses or as needed. You can also use white vinegar or diluted Thieves Cleaner!
Don’t Over Fill
Be conscious of the level of water you’re adding to your diffuser – if you use too much it may not turn on {or flash on/off immediately} or could even spill into sensitive parts of the diffuser. Make sure you’re also using the correct kind of water for your diffuser. Â Consult the text above or your information packet for proper water use and type.
Each diffuser has either a fill line, mark or red dot to indicate maximum water level.
Proper fan clearance
Each diffuser uses a fan to propel air in the device in order to diffuse your oils – make sure the fan/intake is not blocked.  By placing your diffuser on a solid surface, you can help ensure proper air flow!  If your diffuser is not working effectively, make sure it is not on carpet, a rug or that the vent on the underside of the diffuser isn’t clogged with dust.
